Yes...please do...

I'll just say that I was talking to the singer from TOUCHE AMORE and he thought the BAD BRAINS were from LA...I just nodded and agreed with him.

Glad a band like that is leading the "LAST GREAT WAVE OF HxC".

What is this about? I've seen it mentioned on here before... and am confused. Did these bands say that about themselves??

Touche Amore, Defeater, Make Do, Pianos Become the Teeth, and La Dispute (think thats all of em), refer to themselves as "The Last Great Wave of Music". They have a shirt that I tried looking for but was unsuccessful.

Suspect ..yeah, right.

I've yet to see any of those bands imply that they're better than any other band or use the phrase "The last great wave of hardcore/music", maybe ya'll have seen something I haven't. I take it as an inside thing amongst a group of friends united through their love of playing music. Part tongue in cheek, part friends creating an exclusive thing to bond through, part comical. I understand that some are going hate on it regardless cuz they just don't like the bands. Either way it's always seemed harmless to me, friends coming together and promoting each others bands' based on the love of the music and whether you like the music or not those bands stand for good things. There could be worse.
