Mill City is an awesome record, but i don't think they were really pushing themselves on that one. with TGC i think they did something a bit different for them, which i like.

The record actually isn't about god or religion, at least in the sense you would think by hearing the words "No God" on a hardcore record. Read everything here: http://www.abgodcomplex.blogspot.com. There are more than detailed explanations to every song on the record in addition to tons of extra little insights into the inspirations and motivations for this whole record and Ted goes in depth about what he's talking about in each song in relation to his life. In my opinion you really need to read all of this to fully appreciate this record as the lyrics are pretty vague and open-ended. The blog sheds a whole new light on the ideas being expressed on the record.
