Whoa what did I miss?

Afternoon Gentleman were SO FUCKING GOOD it was ridiculous. I had never heard of them or heard their music, and was blown away. I lost my shit.
Nightbringer and Oily Menace both killed it.
Missed Weekend Nachos, and only caught a bit of From Hell. I missed all the hubbub.

All in all, show was a great time, it was awesome to see so many good friends that I don't get to see often.

On a side note, the floor was extra slippery all night. I would go to run around and just slip all over fucking hell.

A poor attempt at burning a cross happened, I know that. Then an awesome rest-of-the-show.

Gotta say, fire in a crowded basement with terrible exits, bad idea. Glad I was warming up back stage and could have made a casual exit through the sliding glass door in the case of a Great White style event.

That and the KKK were Christian and burned crosses. Confusing statement.

Not the best idea, hope someone got a picture Twisted Evil

I'm going to try and get some fans so the basement is less hot and sweaty this summer. It was brutal last year.

Also, Afternoon Gentlemen was the best set I've seen in a long time. Their drummer fucking killed it, and they were super nice dudes, too. Will be keeping my eyes on them in the future.

I believe there was talk of a fan last year and Steve Wojcik said something about moshing with said fan

Actually Id like to say that the attempt was a good one. It was just the end result that was poor.

Metal Frat Fan Benefit Show! You'd have to get the big ass ones they have at football games and put one behind the drums in that doorwar, and probably one nach by the bar/march area.

I still think slamming it across the floor à la Let Down would've been more effective.

We had water, fire extinguishers, and people standing by to take care of anything in the event of a worst case scenario. Anyone who saw it can tell you it was not out of hand and, as Joshua pointed out, it was pretty much the opposite. We had no intentions of putting our friends and loved ones in danger.

As for the KKK comments, I think a Cristian organization burning crosses to promote racism sends a far more confusing message than an antitheist band burning a cross on what was said to be the "rapture". I think our statement was pretty straight forward.

Odd Future would of been scared as well.

I would have been even more mad if I had to huff fire extinguisher fumes during Nightbringer and Afternoon Gents. I know there are different kinds, but the one time I had to use one here it was hard on the lungs.

I wasn't even at the show to witness said attempted cross burning so I don't know how poorly it was accomplished but regardless if you had water or fire extinguishers it's still a pretty shitty situation to put the people downstairs in if in case something DID happen. You guys ran a venue and I'm pretty sure neither you nor Chris would have liked to see someone trying to burn something in your venue.

Fuck 'em. If worse came to worse, I think all the sand in people's vaginas would be sufficient to snuff any flames.

Hey buddy. The real issue here is that they burned a cross. That's a symbol of god. I'm comin out of the closet as a Christian with everyone else. Only I'm not pretending I'm mad about the fire. I'm mad they burned a cross.

Ryan Felton.

Ryan Felton.

Wait, so you're a racist?
