September 19th @ Metal Frat - Burning Love (Toronto), Nightbringer, Expire (IL), Idol And The Whip

Burning Love which has Chris Colohan (Left For Dead, The Swarm, Cursed, etc.) in it is playing at the Metal Frat on September 19th. This is going to be a party like how they went down during the school year so it's free but the same rules apply for getting into house for the party/show (correct me if anything's different Sean or John?)

Nightbringer is awesome and Expire is a new band from Illinois that has dudes from Take Control in it. Like, I said this isn't a regular show so it's free to get into. If you want to donate a couple bucks to the touring bands I'm sure they would greatly appreciate it. Also, there might be a show with Nightbringer and Burning Love happening at Refuge earlier in the night? Sean and John from Dire Wolf would have more info on all of this I just wanted to post it up cause I think this is going to be a really good time.

There is supposed to be a show earlier with Burning Love, Nightbringer, Dire Wolf, and someone else. When I get more info I'll post it.

As for getting into parties this year, I'm going to see what I can do about that. I know we have a lot more people coming to our house who don't go to U of M and I think that rules. But, when some parties are already packed to the point of not moving not everyone is thrilled about letting more people in. So, I'll let everyone know what the deal will be as soon as I talk to some other people about it.

im surprised that picture wasnt used for a metal frat show sooner.

I was going to make a "Toga! Toga! Toga!" flier based off the movie "Tora! Tora! Tora!" but it just wasn't happening last night. Maybe next time.

Burning Love are canceling because their bass player doesn't have a passport. The Refuge show is canceled, but the Metal Frat show will go on.

you think bands crossing the boarder would figure this problem out by now..

Although I am bummed that Burning Love can't play, Idol and the Whip have been doing something very similar for awhile and are fucking awesome. One of the tightest live bands in the state.

No joke. I think a complicating factor was that Cursed toured so much that they had proper permits and stuff, and that will immediately come up if they run Chris' passport. So he's worried about traveling with four other dudes even if they have nothing band related with them. We'll have them over once this is all sorted out.
