Some stuff
Iron And Wine-Fall 2007 Demohttp://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=7cc1eaf44e93e5a791b20cc0d07ba4d266cd16e7563370ae
(i forgot to zip this so it's individual but W/E)
These songs are alternate versions/acoustic demos for the record "The Shepherd's Dog". This was the last Iron And Wine release and these songs completely stripped down sound amazing. Just one guitar track and one vocal track on most songs.
The National-Alligator(2005)http://www.mediafire.com/?wzjuoy3yynm
"Interpol meets Tom Waits" is what I've heard that makes the most sense
Frostbite(2002)http://www.mediafire.com/?yzvyi2nyj1z
One of my favorite hardcore bands, great lyrics with just fast pissed hardcore.
This has more than just their 7" I believe, I don't know where I acquired this stuff
This band went on to form Cold World
Sounds like..."moshing to right brigade while getting hit with a snowball"
Third Eye Blind-Blue(1999)http://www.mediafire.com/?dxmzvzwylzm
Although the hype is around there self titled debut, "Blue" just does it for me. Has the single, "Never Let You Go" and the instrumental version of "Slow Motion" with only the lyrics over the chorus. Listen to "Slow Motion(Instrumental)" if you never have before, then get the version with lyrics, it makes it way better than just hearing the version with lyrics first.
Tom Waits-Closing Time(1973)http://www.mediafire.com/?oryvymyczmw
Tom Wait's debut album. Martha was covered by Meatloaf, thats all.
