Saying "Hold on, I gotta use the bathroom" and leaving a telltale dirty needle in my trash can is not cool. At all.

i know all of these things have already been mentioned, but i thought maybe asking as direct as possible might pull out a non-dodged response from the original poster?

I'm not going to be a male and write songs focusing on sexism from a woman's perspective, for a woman. If a female who does vocals so chooses to write about sexism, or racism, or making sandwiches, or counting the tiles on the bathroom floor, that's her prerogative. The reason female vocals are the important part is, as you said, due to the pitch and vocal abilities (in this case, the sound we're looking for is similar to between that of the vocals for Sacrilege and the vocals for After the Bombs). I don't think it's at all sexist to say "We need female vocals for this" because that's the sound we're looking for which so happens to require a woman's voice. At the same time a woman couldn't do most hardcore vocals you hear today, because most women lack the ability to sound like a pitbull.

Maybe it would be acceptable, but the ratio of high-pitched, effeminate men interested in punk to actual women, is rather low. Hence, offering a spot to a woman is much easier and much more prone for success. Going out of your way to not be sexist is retarded.

my bad; I thought the thread had turned completely useless. Thanks for making it entertaining again!!Chris wrote:XrambeauX wrote:my dad is diabeticZac Folk (dad) wrote:So no diabetics then.
unless your dad is a female, he is ineligible for this position, and that information is completely useless.
