its great. i sold a beat up old swr megoliath (810) for $600, and ended up getting this cab for only $500, with a nice mesa cover for it.

i feel like it has more low end than the swr, and is less poppy. it has a nicer/warmer/more full tone than the ampeg 810s ive played through.

Schecter Omen 6, Walnut Satin finish. All custom pickups, bridge & saddles, tuners, and knobs. Everything broke over time and had to be replaced.

Heads:
Peavey Windsor tube head, modded.
Carvin X-60B tube head, as of next week.

Cabs:
Peavey 4x12 slanted cab w/ eminence speakers. (Again, blew up the originals, had to replace them).
Random borrowed 4x12 cabs.
And for Cloud Rat, a custom Sunn BH 2x15 that is our drummer's. Not sure what speakers are in it.

Pedal:
Radial Big Shot ABY Switch Pedal

And I do most writing on an old Yamaha acoustic that I got when I was 13 for $80.

Guitar:
2004 Gibson SG standard
Fender Jazzmaster, J Mascis series, the only difference is the tune-o-matic bridge, the jumbo frets, and the vintage tuners. oh, and the awesome color.

Head:
1969 Ampeg v4, originally modded to take 6l6's because 7027's are so $$$, but eventually added a master volume mod, and just a small voltage mod to make it more guitar friendly.

I just sold my Peavey VTM 120

Cab:
Emperor 4x12 upgraded to Eminence Wizard's, part of their red-coat line, awesome mid-range tone

Pedals:
big muff green russian clone, modded phase 90 clone, mxr analog delay, and a zvex boost clone

I play an Epiphone Custom G400 (SG) through a 5150 and a Marshall 1960A cab; though I'd rather my head be a JCM900. I would be using Boss pedals; but Boss is the worst company ever and won't back their warranties.

yes those were the niko instances I was referring to, it was even funnier when I tried pealing the cab decal off and he got super pissed at me.
