Check back at this mediafire page. I just uploaded some stuff. A lot of this older stuff was rescued from deteriorating tapes and cd's and is some what incomplete. If anyone can fill in the gaps I would be stoke. More is on the way as I type.

I first heard about Lovesick about 6 years ago. I heard they were Legen - wait for it - dary! And I'm listening to them for the first time now. How fuckin crazy... Does anyone know the story behind them? I forgot the dude's name who told me about them. We used to talk online a lot. We wrote for the same magazine, or met through it anyway. iii zine out of Bay City.

Lovesick had Fred Thomas of 1,000,000 other bands and Michael Troutman who is currently in Awesome Color and previously in Violent Ramp.

If I'm remembering this correctly, I talked a very young Will Aitken into attending a Lovesick / Small Brown Bike house show in East Lansing in around 1999 and he told me it wasn't really his thing. I didn't blame him because it wasn't really my thing either.

I've been pushing fir a Bronson 335, Dead Man's Hand, Next 2 Nothing, and Blue Skies Burning reunion show in Toledo.

This thread seems to be lacking the best Michigan hardcore band of all time: Carcrash.

Anyone have anything by Driving The Stake? I saw them once in TC when they shared members with Kid Brother Collective and Dead By Sunday and all 3 bands played at the same show. I felt pretty bad for the drummer, Nate, for having to play 3 sets in a row.
