Andrew is no longer drumming for them, some guy from CT is.
I can say for certain that Matt Fox does not want those auditions, or any of the auditions he gets, to leak. Everyone will be able to hear how Steve sounds at the show in Grand Ledge 2/19. You should all come.
Steve is lowering his pitch while singing for Hulud so you won't be hearing him as he sounded in When Heroes Fail or Trying Times or most recently in Great Reversals. I've heard him do so and it sounds pretty good thus far. It's going to take some time to adjust but this will be the longest, most consistent period of time he's sung for a band so his voice should naturally lower itself as he keeps up with it.
In my opinion this will be the best guy they've had since Geert. While I am slightly biased of course I really didn't care for Matt Mazalli (the guy who recorded on Misanthropy Pure and did the bulk of the touring the last 2 years) or the other 2 guys they've had filling in here and there.

Does this band still tour the US? I didn't know they were still around. Or is it a reunion, of sorts? I figured they just died out in the late 90s. I guess it makes sense they'd tour Europe.

misanthropy pure came out in like '08. they did a tour with reign supreme and the carrier over the summer if i remember right.

They were broken up between 04 and 06 but have been kickin it steadily around the US since then. This will be their first time in Europe in years. They played MI 3 times last year.
