I was in a Grind band a few years back called Shatner Mask, but we only played a handful of shows.
A couple of the members are doing this band called Capacitor now. They have some grindy stuff, but also have a lot of that screamo sound (think Orchid, Pg99, Funeral Diner, etc) and a lot of weird doom/experimental/death stuff too. I like it.

I'm assuming that you are thinking more of a crusty grind though? I don't really know of any more Michigan bands doing that currently. I'm sure that there are, I just haven't heard them.

I would like to do another grind band someday.

I'm just lookin' for anything that is more than a joke band. I love Orchid and stuff like that too. I'm trying to find a warehouse or empty building to rent in lansing for DIY shows and I have a grind festival in mind.

My roommates and I looking to put out a Michigan Grind comp. Has anyone here seen the band Shit Life from Ann Arbor? I know that they have an ex-drummer from Black Dahlia Murder, but I'm still interested.

EDIT: They used to be called Off The Pigs?

Lee, I am so down! Lets find a drummer. 3-piece grind.

Tornado Parade will do a reunion as soon as our drummer comes back from Alaska. Then, my friends, you can mosh the hardest mosh that you ever moshed.

Mutator is starting back up and will probably take a more Godflesh-like approach this time.

Kevin, I am starting a grind band. Female-fronted fastcore/grindviolence. Our first practice is going to be sometime this next week. When were you thinking of doing this comp?

Speaking of MUTATOR, here's the tape we did a few years back. Deer Healer Label #1.

I still have a few copies of the tape, if anyone cares to actually own it.

The name sounds familiar, but I can't pinpoint it. Was he in any bands?
