Henry Rollins is doing comedy at Cooley Degree Mill here in Lansing.

That building is a joke to Lansing residents?

Cooley Law School is 100% fucked, and can get 100% fucked.

Odds of this selling out? I don't know the venue.

Opinion: Cooley is a degree mill that turns out a lot of petty litigious shithouse lawyers. Cooley students have raised housing prices in the last 15 years here because it has become the largest law school in the country. You used to be able to get an apartment downtown to go to the Community College here, but now its all $1000 a month lofts that law students rent. We used to have a good city market with lots of veggie vendors, and even a branch of the food co-op. The mayor tore that down against the will of the citizens for what we thought would be more upscale lofts for cooley fuckheads. But no, he is trying to sell the land next to it for a casino and then tear down the market for cooley condos and a hotel for the casino.

Fact: Cooley is THE largest law school in the country by enrollment, and several times has almost had its accreditation revoked because so few of its graduates passed the bar exam. They use some really creative math on their website to show that they rank 12th in the country (using statistics based on entering students, not grads), but generally are not ranked in listings of law schools because they perform so poorly, or do not supply enough info to rating systems to even qualify. When journalists or bloggers have written about this, the fucking school sends cease and desist letters.

Fact: They pay for the baseball stadium the Lansing Lugnuts play in. Kevin is just mad. U MAD?

I don't know man, most people always called it lugnuts stadium. It used to be a super seedy block 20 years ago.

I don't get what Cooley's accreditation and Virg Bernero's attempts to dissolve the community has to do with a Henry Rollins's spoken word tour.....
