Whoops, meant that for the DAAC show thread. Fee free at a DIY venue! Gee whiz, but its not appropriate for this thread because the loft is the loft.

I think I'll just go to the Cleveland or Toronto date instead.

Chuck Ragan and Dan Andriano are going to be playing at the Magic Stick the same day. What a bummer. Toronto has Burning Love playing too I think, so I wish I could get to that one somehow.

The only Fusion-based show I will ever give a fuck about.

I honestly think I'd rather go to the Toledo date. Josh, how do you feel about that idea?

I dont like Converge. Im probably going to go get really drunk at the Tin Can next door then stumble up the stairs to this. Or just go to Omars.

There is no Toledo date...

Yeah, for whatever reason, I put Toledo instead of Cleveland. Maybe it's because I usually only ever go to OH for shows in Toledo or for Cedar Point.

I heard that Ringworm is playing the Cleveland date. If that's the case, then I'm completely sold on the idea of seeing the Cleveland date instead of Lansing one.

I liked the Grog Shop the last time I was there.

I think that stage is perfect for hardcore shows.

I don't want to get into a whole debate on fusion shows however what is the difference in people's minds between Fusion Shows offering tickets without fees for their shows and Black Iris Booking doing the same thing by selling tickets to their shows without fees at The Garden Bowl? In both cases the cost of admittance at the door the day of the show is always $2 more than the advance price. I know as a general rule most everyone here dislikes Fusion Shows because it is Fusion Shows but in terms of fee-free tickets I don't really understand the gripe.

The loft is a sweet venue. I don't understand it either. I do not back fusion shows 100% but in my opinion they are not as bad as everyone makes them out to be. Its hard booking shows, and most of the people that complain about fusion shows have never booked a show. The way I see it, if you don't like the way a certain booking company is booking shows then start booking your own. black iris, bermuda mohawk, and fusion are all ok by me.

Nothing against fusion shows, I think some of us are just jealous of the surrounding areas who have some killer line ups. I know I am.
