Help! Venues/basement shows in Ann Arbor/MI? + Any bands wanna play with BIG EYES on 06/08?

There's this really cool band called Big Eyes (ex-Cheeky, Used Kids, http://www.myspace.com/bigeyesband), and they need a place to play in MI on June 8th. I'm new to booking bands... I'm hitting up the Trumbullplex in Detroit, but any other suggestions to where else they could possibly play? A place in Ann Arbor would be swell as well. This band is kinda small, might not get a very big draw.

Also, any bands wanna play with them on 06/08?

Also, anyone know the email addresses for the DAAC (Grand Rapids) or the Shelter (Detroit)?

I am pretty sure Rotten Apple Workshop Haus (raw haus) was condemned during punk week last year. Other than that basement shows in A2 happen. I think you just have to know someone who lives in a place out there willing to do a house show.

I've lived in Ann Arbor for 3 years and I've never went to a basement show there... I feel like a square

Those websites have some great resources, but dangit, I still can't find the email address to contact the DAAC! On thedaac.org, they provide their facebook, but not their email address... which is a bummer since I am currently in a country with restricted internet access that blocks facebook.

Is Big Eyes really trying to play Ann Arbor / Detroit on the the 8th if they're at Refuge on the 9th? That seems like some bad routing.

Big Eyes ended up finding a place to play in Ferndale at Club Bart (22728 Woodard Ave) with the MACABRE TIGERS at 9:00pm. I really appreciate all the help, thanks!
