McKaig does the TC shows cuz he lives there and they get nothing else up there. This isn't meant to sound rude but if you want to see a certain show, especially consisting of predominately local bands, book it yourself! That's how I got into doing shows.

I definitely think that MI has always had a case of a small handful of people handling the majority of the shows. While that isn't a bad thing by any means, after a while people get burned out rightfully so and there's often periods where not as many shows happen because no one else stepped up to do shows in their place. For the record I'm talking in terms of smaller, DIY shows, not club shows that happen at the magic stick and what not.
