Bummer show. 6 bands is a fest. And on a Sunday night?

But for the hell of it, my succinct comments:

Retribution: ok, I guess
Great Reversals: I kind of dug them. I, too, liked the 90's.
Under Anchor: better than the last time I saw them. Probably not my thing, but that's no big deal.
Poison Tongues: tight for a new band. Lenny looks happy.
NRR: best band in the Midwest, even if I only caught 2 songs.
Ringworm: probably playing while I'm asleep.

Cool show. Never seen Ringworm play a bad set.
My big surprise of the night was NRR. band was awesome. reminded me of the swarm and covered judge.

NRR fucking KILLED!
That was my third time seeing them, and this time around blew the doors off the first two. That new drummer rules. I look forward to what this band is going to do in the future.

That was also my third time seeing Ringworm, and I have to say that I was a bit disappointed with their set this time. Seemed kind of uninspired at points, a little sloppy at points(the solos especially), and some comments made by the Furnace kind of put me off. He basically made the same age and solos jokes the last two times I saw them, and the shit before and at the end of dollar whore was fucking stupid.
That being said, I was pumped for the first 4 songs.

Retribution's new stuff is great.
Great Reversals' new stuff is great as well, and our tour with them was a really good time. Best dudes.
Poison Tongues were tight and heavy.


I concur with DHR about the show being too long, and it ran too late.

Ringworm killed...so good. Long live da' Furnace!
