T bag, shows are still upstairs. Nice space for shows that are going to draw 40-100 people. Sound system is ok too. They might do 18+ shows there. If not you might be able to haggle i.e. offer them 1/3 of the door price or charge under age kids a higher cover yada yada. I know that is shitty but if kids want to see a show they are going to find a way in and it is good to take care of the venues that will let you do shows. Especially places with liquor liscence that is a small joint without a lot of money to get the proper permits. If they hook you up they are risking massive fines or losing the business they built. I remember going round and round with 2500 to let DROPDEAD be all ages but they wouldn't budge cause they had been busted too many times for all ages shows. I just told all the minors to jump the fence and keep a low profile haha.
Geeheep, I agree with you. At least Toxic Holocaust is better live than recorded in my opinion. On my dealings with them face to face Joel came across as a bit of
a tool but, I didn't spend a lot of time hanging around him. I could be wrong about this. His pickup band (this was the Danzig tour) were assholes.
Anguish are pretty awesome now. After what seemed about a year hiatus from live shows they learned to play their instruments. Previously they were your typical noise crust band and now sound like Judas Priest on roids or something to that effect.
If anyone coming from a northern area would want give me a ride to this fucking pm my ass. You will be compensated.
