I stumbled across this on the detroithc blogspot.

There is a new record store in Ferndale, MI. Its basically on the corner of 9 Mile & Woodward.

It is called Hybrid Moments. I went in there today, they dont have too much yet. Seems like its gonna be pretty sweet though. They also want to start booking shows.

They have a show coming up with enabler, theyre a fast pissed metalish band featuring members of some band every one loves, coming up soon. If i come across the flyer again ill post it. Store looks like it may have some potential.

they have some alright records but they are way overpriced, and the only good ones are like SUNN and boris or something, their used records are overpriced about five dollars too much. it would be cool if the store kept going and turned out alright, but, unfortunately i don't see it lasting too long. i hope i'm wrong.

Yea...I heard that there was a new spot in ferndale opening...the more the merrier I say.
And I love the RECORD COLLECTOR...one of my fave spots around...but in regards to your post, they only carry used stuff, so it'll be nice to have a spot that carry's new stuff around as well.
Hopefully someplace around Metro-Detroit will actually carry HxC stuff. I know when I worked a record store I always had our buyer bring HxC shit in. It doesn't seem to be that way right now, with any records stores in the area.
