Michigan Fest 2010...

Just thought that I would give everyone the heads up, I'm not sure if I am going to be able to do Michigan Fest again this year or not...
Between co-owning and running Justice Records (plus we do shows almost weekly), working construction, being a single dad, two bands and all that encompasses (tour, shows, recording, etc.), I've got a lot on my plate at this moment.

I'm still on the fence about it, as I think it could be really cool this year. I've had some ideas on how to set up the food and distros more efficiently this year, and I think there are a lot of great newer Michigan/Midwest bands that need to be heard.
If the fest were to happen, it would probably be the weekend of Saturday November 20th.

Thoughts? I guess I just wanted to get some feedback and see if anyone was still looking forward to it at all?

Yo I can do the work for this with you if you want. That way it can still happen and allow you to focus on the other stuff you have goin on too.

i wish i had a venue. next order of business after buying a house, getting shows going up here again.

same michiganfest as the ones i used to go to in wayne between 1998-2002? when joel wick and a bunch of other dudes used to set it up?

Update: as of now, Michigan Fest WILL be happening. Probably in December now, maybe the 11th, to put space between some of the bigger shows happening in October and November. After I get the venue confirmed, we will start working on the lineup. Andrew T. is helping out as well. Thanks to the folks who offered help!

Also, we will be donating most of the door money to Refuge. Some of my favorite shows ever have been there and Eric deserves all the support we can give.
