CALLING ALL MICHIGAN BANDS

Some of you on here may have heard already, but a friend and I were in a terrible car accident on Monday morning. We were hit by a drunk driver. I'm doing okay, a few cracked bones and healing time is needed, she on the other hand, is not. She has both her legs from the knees down, bones shattered. Her shoulder blade, 2 ribs, clavicle, hips, and arm are all broken. She also had to get staples in her head. She has plenty of surgeries coming up and only god knows when she will be able to walk again. I wasn't asked to set this all up, but I figured it would make sense for me to ask around for help, since I know a lot of people around here. To help cover medical costs until this is all settled, a few of my co workers are trying to put together a benefit show. If any of you in bands or know people in bands that would play and are interested, please let me know, send me your email address. I don't know the exact date of the show or where it will be at. Show will be on August 26th, at Club 309.

The drunk driver, Shawn Collins, has deleted his facebook because of the death threats he was recieving and pretty much is laying low. No one knows whats up with him because he's not talking to anyone. Apparently he was already on probation to begin with, and is a total douche bag that has no real friends. He came out of the accident with just having to get stitches. He's not in jail yet because I guess they still have some investigating to do. Hopefully he gets the justice he deserves.
