this record sucks. the latin drums are stupid. too many genres are trying to be mish mashed into this. if i want to listen to dag nasty ill listen to dag nasty and if i want to listen to the beach boys ill listen to the beach boys.

face reality is going on tour with dire wolf and both bands aren't playing a tour kickoff? makes zero sense.

i don't mean to sound like a dick or even bring this up in public but it doesn't really make sense at all. even with the explanation provided. i understand that dire wolf is playing a show like a week after we get back from tour or whatever, we are too. that's like saying we might as well drop this show because we're playing cleveland the next day.

I don't know, I am totally down to play whenever wherever especially seeing as this would be the kickoff show. I think it's just that John already had us booked on that next show at the frat, and he doesn't see it as right to have us playing show after show there. He'd rather give another band an opportunity to play with a rad touring band, than have us play two shows in a row. I suppose we could switch shows and not play the one when we get back, but that's really not my department.

i booked the make do and mend / all teeth show before this one and since i'm friends with those guys i put dire wolf on the show. because i'd rather have homelife or procession play the hostage calm show than dire wolf, so we aren't playing two shows and not giving anyone else an opportunity, i put them on it instead. does this make sense?

My life has a penchant for awkward situations, it seems.

I will be attending neither show, nor said tour, and will instead be reading in my room alone. Talk about awkward.
