Food thread

Inspired by the mexican food thread. lets talk about anything food. recipes, restaurants, how marc jeezy thinks indian food is better than mexican food, anything.

can someone post some good not too pricey recipes? Meat or meat free, doesnt matter. I just got a bridge card so Im looking to try experimenting more.

When I'm up at Central with Amanda for like, a week or more on end I usually buy Ramen noodles, little steak pieces, and different kinds of azn sauces. Shit gets wild.

$4.75 an hour plus 25 cents a mile for gas and you dont have you claim your tips. Its not a bad deal at all.

is this typical of a delivery driver? i deliver for a local place and make $7.40 per hour + 42 cents per mile + tips.

Patty melt I made the other day:
1 1/2 pounds of ground turkey - $3.50
loaf of rye bread - $1
Sauté onions - buy an onion
butter and vegetable oil - cheap
one slice of provolone, one slice of american cheese - cheap

This was good.

I made a spinach lentil soup the other day that was cheap. Just buy a bunch of eggs and make omelets all day with whatever you like in them. Cheap.

Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Crisps
Cheesy Red Lobster-esque Biscuits
Roasted Parmesan Garlic Wild Asparagus
Baked Honey Teryaki Salmon
White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

I am way too excited. If there's any cheesecake left over, which I'm sure there will be, I'll bring some to the show Saturday night to share.

I get so excited when I know you're baking for shows at the Metal Frat. Best cupcakes in hardcore.
