Hockey playoffs

So I think we need to handle the shit out of Nabakov as soon as we come to San Jose. Tonight was fucking awesome, just saying. Thoughts on other teams? Vancouver and Chicago should be interesting, that is if Luongo doesn't shatter like the hyped-up goalie he is.

As long as Chicago doesn't make it to the finals I'm totally okay. Suck it Tomas!

The Vancouver / Chicago series will be a tough one, but the Canucks won't get caught sleeping on the 'Hawks like they were last year. Still, like onehundredpercentburnt already said - Luongo could very well shit the bed like he has a tendency to do. I think the Blackhawks take it.

I'm hyped about Wings / Sharks. Out of 4 games this year, the Wings took the series 3-1 with that one loss coming in a shootout. The Sharks are also 1-7 in their last 8 2nd Round series. That's all history, though, and it'll be a tough series. Howard has been playing great, and he hung with Bryzgalov who is a better goaltender than Nabokov at this point. Also, the Coyotes are a more physical team than the Sharks - but Game 1 is Thursday and we'll definitely be tired.

Yeah, Phoenix is a scrappy team. Puck possesion and solid defense will be key for this round as long as we can capitalize on those moments. Patience!

tomas and i were talking about how outstanding jaroslav halak (canadiens' goalie) played in this series. with 131 blocked shots out of 134, he's playing the best game of his career. i'd like to see them beat the penguins almost more than i'd like to see the wings go all the way. although i don't know how likely either is.
