I understand. I was definitely far from being the band dad. Aside from a few sinker shows and shitty promoters, you know its generally a fun experience.. maybe?

I've been on a few tours and they've all been pretty successful. The most fun parts of tour end up being the things I would do if I were on vacation. Hurry up, wait around, hurry up, wait around...just not my idea of a good use of time.

But again, I take touring pretty seriously. I'm not doing it just because I can. I'm doing it because it's what I need a band to do and I'll treat it as a job. Every time I get back from a tour or something, I kind of look forward to going back to work.

That's just me, though.

I think Jake is coming across a little aloof. It was most certainly our job when we were touring. Obviously the role is a lot different for someone who is organizing / dealing with promoters, though.

I will say not doing anything besides skate, eat, mosh, and sell gear was the best thing I could have done with All Hype.
