Suprisingly just found some footage from our set at Posi #'s, so I figured I'd throw the link up here if anyone wants to check it out. This is the first song in our set. I played gee-tar in this band. We only recorded a demo.
Though it was not intended to be our last show, that's what it became. We had been playing out for about 6 months, a couple shows in Detroit, two week tour all up and down the east coast, and a show in Cleveland. For those that don't know, this was a Cleveland based band, which was one reason for the bands demise...I got sick of driving down there all the time for practice...but really this became our last show cause of drummer problems.
Here's the gist: our current drummer at the time decided last minute to not drive out to Wilkes-Barre, PA (where the fest took place) and without informing us about this decision. So there we are, IN THE RED, our time slot coming up in sight with no drummer in sight. Luckily, Izzy from THE FIRST STEP volunteered to fill-in for us with no practice, just listened to the demo like 10 times in the car, and off to the stage we went.
Looking back, we probably could have kept the band goin, but our drummer (who was a friend of mine at the time) not showing up to play the fest, really took the wind out of my sails.
COALITION was next...
